Phimai National Museum, learning resources of artistic, culture in lower area of northeastern, opened to the public service on August 14, 1993 by HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn presided over the opening ceremony of the National Museum.
Phimai National Museum is a source of collection of antiquities artifacts from the excavation. and restoration of Prasat Hin Phimai as well as exhibits artifacts from the archaeological excavations, the archaeological excavation of the department of fine arts from the neighboring provinces and artifacts from private donations. Phimai National Museum is cultural and a source of lifelong learning in data collection, knowledge of history, archeology, art history, arts style architecture, sculpture and Iconography in each era.
