The museum also displays antique tools in the pre-Hariphunchai age discovered through excavation at Ban Wang Hai, Wiang Yong sub-district, Muang district, Lamphun Province. In addition, the antique arts in the historical age are displayed following their art styles as follows:

Hariphunchai style arts: the arts in this category can be divided into two groups:
1. The first group is those with the age before the 17th Buddhist century (prior to 1057. The arts in this group reflect the influence of the Pala Indian art and that of Dvaravati art such as a head of a stone Buddha image.
2. The other is those with the age from 1057 and 1292. The arts reflect the identity of Hariphunchai; in fact, they evolved from the former group. They also have some unique features of Dvaravati art; specifically speaking, eyebrows are arched as crow wings, eyes are lowered, a mouth is set in a sneer and nostrils are flared or wide. Moreover, yellowish fine-grained earthenware has many shapes and is mostly used for interment, and ewer is similar to one commonly used in the northern region.

Lanna style arts : date from the 19th – 25th Buddhist century and can be categorized into four groups as follows:
1. The first group reflects identity seeking, so the arts are influenced by Khmer, Hariphunchai and Pala styles.
2. The second one reflects perfection of Lanna arts. Simply put, the arts are unique in themselves while integrating the beauty of contemporary arts of Sukhothai and Ayutthaya, which creates aesthetics at an international level.
3. Another shows local characteristics in particular areas such as Phayao. The arts in this group are influenced by Lanchang. Apart from Buddhist arts, the outstanding work of art is ceramics from different places such as San Kamphaeng, Wiang Kalong, Thung Tao Hai and Pan.
4. The last group is the contemporary arts integrated with Rattanakosin arts. They are mostly handcrafts and fine arts which show Lanna cultures such as Bunga Mas Ban Perak, elephant and horse statues as well as woodwork and craving such as a Sattaphan (candle holder).
