Description :
Head Sculpture (men), or the Buddha wearing a feather tiara ornament, wide forehead, square face, eyebrow slightly curl at the end, the eyes look downward, eyes' outer corner point up, sharp nose, round jaw, slight smile.
Condition :
fairly complete
History :
The sculpture has been moved from U-Thong National Museum. It was found at the Nern Tang Pra archaeological site Sam Chuk district, Suphanburi, which was built in Mahayana Buddhism era, in the same age with the religious place found in the Kosi Narayana district, Ratchaburi province, Lang castle walls in Petchaburi province and Muang Singha castle in Kanchanaburi province.
