- Buddha statue in the attitude of meditation with a slender face. The eyebrows are curvy and connected like a crow’s wings with a prominent nose. The eyes shut, and the upper lip is thinner than the lower lip. The hair is curled into pointy knots. The garland of ray is large and tall. The ears are long, and the neck is articulate. It wears a light rope covering the chest. The edge of the rope has two layers and hangs down to the umbilicus. The statue is in the attitude of mediation on an upturned lotus pedestal supported by an Erawan or three-head elephant base. A shield is worn on each of the elephant’s heads. The base was colored in crimson red and gilded. It was assumed that the Buddha statue sitting on an Erawan base referred to the Buddhist history when Buddha went to help his mother in Trayastrimsa Heaven.
